YORKES.LIVE
Yorkes.live is a passion project I created to showcase beaches in the local area. The map itself is an animated 3D construction I
created in blender and displayed using google’s model viewer. It’s generally used to showcase products in 3 dimensions, however, I pushed it a
little harder to create a map of the Yorke Peninsula with representations of towns, beaches and lighthouses.
I spent a sunny day with the family visiting each beach taking a couple of photographs. Then spent some more time in a local library with a
series of older resources making sure the information about the beaches was accurate. I learnt a lot about the local area from this project.
